PLANT-MY-TREE® means: climate and nature conservation right on our own doorstep – and not somewhere at the end of the world. 2. 2. Our experience goes back to 2007
PLANT-MY-TREE® launched the topic of systematic reforestation work to protect the climate and nature, established it and has continued to develop it ever since. In other words: we can do what we do. And we still have so many plans for our commitment that the editor of a major German TV station once remarked that we were establishing a new era: One hour has 60 ideas!
3. 20 years of experience
Of course, experience isn’t everything. But without a little bit of experience, everything quickly becomes nothing. The fact that we have been successfully on the market with our idea for nature and climate protection for over 20 years shows two things: Firstly, that our idea is obviously very sustainable and not just the popular surfing on the zeitgeist. Secondly, that we really love what we do.

Quality depends on transparent and reliable processes. Our quality management system is certified by TÜV Rheinland in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001:2015. As part of the certification, our documented workflows and quality-management processes are independently audited.
5. Regional forest nursery
Quality begins long before planting. That is why we work with regional forest nurseries and select healthy, robust seedlings in a size suited to the respective site and planting conditions. This creates good conditions for the young trees to establish and develop over time. Our forestry team selects the tree species and planting sizes according to the soil, climate and local conditions.
6. planting on our own land
We plant on our own land as well as on contractually secured cooperation areas. Foundation-owned areas are permanently protected by a perpetuity clause, while cooperation areas are secured for at least 99 years. On former forest land, we support reforestation; on other suitable areas, we create the foundation for new forests. Growing trees absorb CO₂ from the atmosphere and store carbon in their biomass. In this way, the projects contribute to climate and nature conservation.
7. care of the trees
Once we have planted a tree, the best thing we can do on an area is what we as humans should do there: nothing! In fact, we largely stay out of everything. Because the history of the earth documents quite unromantically: man needs the tree. But as a rule, trees do not need humans. For this reason, true to all our forestry knowledge, we behave very defensively. We observe. We check for pest infestations at regular intervals. We keep an eye on special weather events. We protect the area from unwanted visitors. We simply make sure that the forest can be what it loves to be: forest!
8. cooperation with the foundation
The extremely close cooperation with the PLANT-MY-TREE® Foundation ensures that we have the best possible framework conditions for our daily work. The foundation is gradually acquiring more and more nature conservation areas, which we professionally reforest and maintain. Our close cooperation with the PLANT-MY-TREE® Foundation creates strong conditions for long-term forest protection. The foundation gradually acquires additional land for nature and forest conservation, while PLANT-MY-TREE® carries out the necessary planting and forestry work. Together, we already secure areas with more than one million planted trees and continue to protect additional land in Germany. The climate will thank us!

11. geo-coordinates
A tree donation does not have to be an anonymous affair. Our experience shows that many people would like to see how their own seedling develops in its new environment after receiving the tree certificate. And PLANT-MY-TREE® makes exactly that possible. Our geo-coordinates make it easy to locate the planting area where the donated tree was planted. In this way, growing trees can be inspected again and again during a relaxed visit on their way to becoming a mature forest.
